CVMC also offers a modern emergency room with comprehensive urgent care services and trauma care. The surgeons of Green Mountain Orthopaedic Surgery take calls at the hospital, so if you have to visit the ER for an orthopedic emergency, chances are good you will be seen by one of our doctors.
In addition, Central Vermont Medical Center has an outstanding Rehabilitation Services department. Their highly trained and qualified therapists are dedicated to helping people regain their highest possible level of functioning. CVMC offers comprehensive rehab services for our orthopedic and Worker’s Comp patients, including:

CVMC also understand the needs of family and friends who may accompany their loved one for surgery. The waiting room is large and comfortable, with a TV available while they wait. In addition, CVMC has a library and a cafeteria on the ground floor and a gift shop and coffee cart off the lobby entrance.
