"I broke my fifth right metatarsal 10 days before my honeymoon.  Dr. Bean did surgery to put a screw in the broken bone to stabilize my foot which enabled me to bear weight and have greater mobility.  After surgery, I experienced no pain and actually walked out of surgery touching down on my casted right foot! While on my honeymoon, I called GMOS from London to ask about my cast as I had experienced edema on the flight.  Having a friendly and understanding GMOS across the Atlantic was very reassuring to me.

"I came to Green Mountain Orthopaedic Surgery because they were highly recommended by a friend, as well as, their  proximity to where I work - I have a business in South Barre.  I met Dr. Meriam to discuss right knee pain that I had been having.  After an MRI and a consultation with him, we decided that the best treatment was for a total knee replacement.  I had the surgery in October of 2010 and could not have asked for a better result.

Collin first came to see Board Certified Hand Surgeon, Dr. Christian Bean, when he was just two weeks old.  His parents came to Green Mountain Orthopaedic Surgery to discuss the extra thumb that he was born with.  Upon examination, Dr. Bean suggested to Collin's parents, Megan and Jaron, that they bring him back in about 7 months to discuss a surgical procedure to remove the extra thumb.  Here are some of the pictures to show you Collin's progress!
